Update on classes

Just an update on our plans for Alpha Dance. We are freezing any fees that have been paid in advance from the 21st March when we stopped the classes. These fees will be credited when we return. No one is expected to pay fees when no classes are held. Everyone pays in various ways as you know but for the monthly payments some are in credit and others are behind which makes things difficuilt to make any immediate overall stop of direct debits. Some parents are continuing payments whilst others have cancelled so we will sort out each individual dancer’s fees when we know the date that we can return. If you require a refund for any classes that you paid in advance then please email us and we will gladly sort this out for you.

We are aware that some dance schools are offering online classes but we are really sceptical on this working for any length of time. For now, it’s not something we plan on doing but we will review the situation in a few weeks.

Our plans are to return to classes as soon as we get the all clear. We will work through the summer holidays if this is possible to make up for the weeks that we are having off so fingers crossed this will enable us to offer the same amount of class weeks that we annually offer. The May show has obviously been cancelled but we have been given replacement dates in The Brunton, Venue 1 for the 15th, 16th & 17th October. The Brunton will be refunding all credit card bookings on all previous purchased tickets for our May show. Unfortunately, any tickets purchased by cash will not be able to receive refunds until the box office opens up again.

We hope that you are all well and keeping safe. We are missing the dancers and the classes massively. Take care.

Lorraine & Julie
